Loads of Otaku have gone crazy over the latest Shunya Yamashita release.Mirei, for those who dont know. It seems that all of the Shunya Yamashita creations are really popular. Mirei was an example of one of those creations and now here is a new Shunya Yamashita figure by Kotobukiya that could go down the same route. Shoko - San seems be more cute then sexy where as Mirei was more sexy than cute. Either way she looks amazing. As for the release date, Shoko is set to be released at the very end of the year so expect to wait a long time until any of us will get a chance to display her on our shelves. The man is a genius, Alex was showing me some of his work earlier today. This Shoko san is very cute, but it does seem to not be as good as Mirei. I feel that Yamashita's best work is his redesign of Ayanami Rei, its a shame that figure was a kit...

You know, seeing as Shunya Yamashita is now one of my favourite Japanese artits, i might try and collect all the fiigures he has drawn...it will take some time...but seeing as he works with kotobukia, maybe ill get one when i go to the Kotobukia store...Ill get Mirei and another ^_^
